Registration/Your Account
Currently, registration is required to place an order in the Fishcakes store. When you are ready to check out you will be prompted to create an account. The information you enter includes your name, mailing, and e-mail address. After you have entered that information it is stored for the next time you log in to make a purchase.
NOTE: Your credit card information is NEVER saved by this site.
Having an account means:
- Future purchases are quicker to complete.
- You can send, receive, use, or share Gift Certificates.
- You'll have a record of past purchases in case you ever feel nostalgic.
Deleting Information
If you would like to keep your account but do not want your shipping/billing addresses to be stored, you can log into your account and edit the information you entered when you registered. You will still be able to log into the account and place orders, you'll just have to provide a shipping address the next time you check out.
If you would like to delete your account entirely, contact us and will be remove your information entirely.
Third Parties
We like parties, but only when there's cake. We will never share your personal information with any other entity, business, or data-collection scam artist. Obviously, we use your e-mail address to communicate with you, and your address to ship your order, but that information is never shared with anyone else.
Payment Information
All credit card transactions are handled through Paypal. None of your payment information is stored on our site.
You may also choose to pay with a personal check or a money order. Please note we will hold the order until the payment is cleared. Sometimes this can take over a week from the time you mail the check.
Newsletters/Notifications
We do not currently have a newsletter or mailing list, and will not send you e-mails unless they are directly related to an order you have placed.
