FAQ's

You used to have _______________ for sale in your store. Where did it go?
Fishcakes has put quite some projects and products on the shelf for a while. Some will return when time allows, some are seasonal, and some are gone for good. If you have a specific item in mind, send us a message and we'll see if we can help you out.

Can I buy your stuff from you in person?
Yes! Sometimes. Fishcakes tries to attend a few art/craft fairs a year. Keep an eye on the store front for announcements about the next show we'll be attending. Also check out the where to buy page for a list of retail stores that carry our stuff.

Can I get a discount if I buy a whole lot?
That depends on your definition of "a whole lot". There's no standard discount for quantity, but if you'd like to order, say, 50 "I'm Weird" buttons for your next family reunion, we might be able to cut you a deal. Send us a message and we'll see. Don't be offended if we say we can't.

Do you do custom orders?
Sometimes. Voz can be hired to do illustrations for your logo, web graphic, or package design. Contact us with your idea and any questions you have.

I meant custom monster designs on Fishcakes products!
Oh. In that case, it's only a possibility if you're planning on buying a substantial quantity of the custom design/product. New designs would be treated as illustration projects and would be charged the regular illustration rate. Please contact us for more details.

Can I use your products on stuff I plan to sell?
Please don't. None of the fishcakes products should be considered supplies for your own commercial projects. We don't currently have an angel policy on the rubber stamp designs, so please keep that in mind when using them.

An example of what's acceptable: If you want to use the stickers or rubber stamps to make stationery for your best friend's birthday so she'll write you a letter, that's perfectly fine.
An example of what's not acceptable: If you want to use the stickers or rubber stamps to make stationery to sell at your local craft fair, that's not fine.

Where did the name Fishcakes come from?
We really need a better answer than "Voz's brain" but that's all we've come up with so far.

Can I sell your stuff in my store?
That would be swell. Have a look at the wholesale requests page and then contact us so we can look over your information.
